Using words such as "imposter" and "usurper," an active-duty Army officer in Iraq has joined a California lawyer's lawsuit intended to force President Barack Obama to prove he is a legal U.S. citizen, and therefore able to legally serve as the commander in chief.

Odd - but when I heard this proposal, I had this strange feeling of relief come over me because, I guess, I am SO petrified of what will happen to our country and what my kid will have to live with. The idea of secession makes me feel like we can actually DO something to save our selves - do you think this is channeling a previous era? I haven’t seen Stonewall yet...so maybe not.

good place to bring up an idea posited on Glenn Beck yesterday - LET’S SECEDE FROM THE UNION! And put this officer in charge of national defense, etc...I mean think about it - the idea on Beck’s show is that so much of the country wants socialism, high taxes, hates the military and won’t serve, etc - so let them be their own country and we have ours. Obambi wants to be Lincoln - let’s give him the challenge and see if he’s up to it. He’ll fail and we get a separate nation that will flourish, have freedom and drill for oil! Whaddaya say?...

I seriously think it may come to this. We have too much of a division. The left and communists are never going to agree with mainstream American and vice versa. I would prefer a peaceful division rather than a war which is what will eventually happen I’m afraid.

I suspect what may happensoon is the Dems themselves begin to realize they have opened a huge PR nightmare for themselves and I suspect that the Dems themselves will begin to suggest that Zero wasn't properly vetted and that now they realize he shouldn't be there they want to replace him with somebody else through some sort of "ExtraConstitutional process". The pubbies will probably go along to get somebody in there who has a brain and so we will be able to avoid what would have otherwise been a pretty nasty divorce, at least for the time being. THe divorce is coming and will ultimately come but something like this could actually get us through this "rough spot" for a year or two. A real conservatve Dem who stepped up to the plate and said party affiliation needs to be set aside and we need to do what needs to be done. Slash Social Security, slash Medicare, slash taxes, slash regulation, etc., etc. Someone like that could actually save the country. Even Carville and Begala are that smart. One had hoped Zero would be that guy but he pretty clearly isn't.

The Kenyan Clown's lack of forthcoming on this vital question of eligibility has cast an unprecedented shadow on a presidential tenure.

Leaving these questions unanswered is corrosive, and it is needlessly damaging the very framework of our government.

Mr. Obama should end his foolish silence, and produce all evidence of his citizenship status: a full birth certificate or certificates (apostille if from abroad); all passports, both expired and current; and all documents relating to his visa or citizenship status in Indonesia.

In order for something like this to work, doesn't the Solider in question need a reason i.e an unconstitutional order to question his authority? It is then that they have a legal term ( Is that term "recourse"? ) to proceed and question his viability.
