Treasury Secy Geithner proposes a crackdown on "tax evasion and avoidance" before tax cheat Cong Rangel's committee........Geithner belatedly paid $40K in taxes he blew off working for the IMF 2001-04. Rangel's famous tax troubles are the subject of a House Ethics Committee investigation..... The latest of Team Obama's tax chiselers is US trade rep nominee, Ron Kirk, ex-Dallas mayor, who owes some $10,000. HHS pick Daschle and "performance czar" nominee Nancy Killefer both withdrew over tardy tax issues....... Somebody's got to go after tax evaders and avoiders.....like OJ went after the real killers.

Another example along these same lines - this morning on Fox Bill Hemmer had some guy on to discuss whether criminal charges will be filed against some of these corporate execs for so much company failure and loss of revenue. He was told that the FBI currently has hundreds of pending cases looking into possible financial criminality.
But the “real killers” in Congress - Barney Frank, Chris Dodd et al, get a pass.
