What do they all have in common? Most likely, none of them is getting invited to the White House Christmas party.
All three media personalities have been singled out by President Obama's press shop in the course of less than two weeks. White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs, in doing so, has shown an unusual willingness to spar with cable and radio hosts who take shots at his boss.
The rebuttals have ranged from playful ribbing to disdainful scolding.
Talk show host Limbaugh has drawn the most ire from the White House. Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel called him out on Sunday for saying he wants Obama to fail, after Obama told Republican lawmakers not to listen to people like Limbaugh several weeks ago.
Gibbs followed up Monday, calling on conservative pundits to challenge Limbaugh on air.

Memo to White House Press Corps: Unless you are on Robert Gibbs’ Enemies List, you ain’t sh!t.
Maybe these attackes will wake these liberal journalists up to the fact that Obama’s arrogance has no bounds.

scary how the obama administration seems obsessed at attacking individual commentators
I know it shouldn’t surprise me anymore, but I’m always shocked at how liberals are, at heart, fascists who routinely seek to “educate”, demonize, and attempt to silence critics of their arrogant, yet incredibly naive, Utopian plans.
I think that eventually it will be considered a badge of honor to be called out by Gibbs. Imagine some one sniffing, “Gregory can’t be that objective, Gibbs hasn’t dissed him yet.”
Contrast that to President Bush who was never bothered by the critics.
I think it has already started.
What a complete douche this guy is. I sense the reporters don’t even like him.
But ONLY if his supporters in the MSM NOTICE. THEY are the ones promoting the attacks by THEIR stories.
Stories written without the background information we have.
Looks as if they are telling the men in the white jackets to stay away.
Bush never really had anyone with any balls to go after any critic, whether an individual or organization, and I think that's one of his biggest failures. He let the media run right up one side, and down the other, and rarely ever got the good word out.
Gibbs is going to put on the boxing gloves and hit himself in the head.
