The White House on Wednesday fessed up to lowering the quality of public discourse and acknowledged that its sniping at radio show host Rush Limbaugh has been "counterproductive," even as Democratic political committees continued to use the issue in a political line of attack approved by the Obama administration itself.
"It may be counterproductive. I'll give you that," said White House press secretary Robert Gibbs, when asked about his repeated verbal jousting with Mr. Limbaugh and other media personalities who have criticized President Obama.
Mr. Obama himself has regularly employed the term "cable chatter" to dismiss criticisms of his economic agenda that he thinks are uninformed or inaccurate. And his administration has often complained about superficial, back-and-forth debates that substitute for political discourse or journalism.
But Mr. Gibbs said he has been "feeding" the very beast that he and others in the White House have lambasted.
"There are days in which, yes, your head throbs from listening to arguments that aren't necessarily centered on delving into some important issue, but finding two people at completely opposite ends of the spectrum to yell loudest in a seven-minute segment before we go on to something else," Mr. Gibbs said.

Verbal Jousting, when the dims take on Limbaugh, it is more like they are taking knives to a gunfight.
Let’s have a debate: 0bama vs. Rush. No notes, no teleprompters. The ticket sales would be huge.

As both I’m sure know, this will never happen. Barak Obama has neither the intellect nor intestinal fortitude to debate Limbaugh. To do so would reveal his deep inadequacies, which he has desprately been attempting to keep under cover for most of his existence.

I doubt Gibbs could open a pocketknife without stabbing himself.
That's not a bad idea but unfortunately, I'm not seeing any other national-level leaders rising to do that. Out tiny little groups shouting into the hurricane needs organizing not sure how that can be done.
We all know that they are hard at work designing and training the "security force" to enforce the One's edicts and executive orders. It only takes three months to train the average citizen to become a very effective soldier/Marine and these people have already had a month minimum. Longer probably. Food for thought...
If the republican party was as critical of the Monstrous agenda of the Democrats they would still be in power.
But they lacked the courage, brains , Brass and Balls of Rush Limbaugh.
In about 6 weeks of the new “Administration” they appear to have set a course to destroy America.

We need to use the Alinsky tactic...keep needling BO to take Rush up on the debate offer, an all out attack on the cowardly, narcissis One. Start calling Obama a Coward, a ChickenShitte big Talker, etc...Rush w/ some help can push this quite far, keep flaming the Rats and watch them implode.
Obama has more important things to do than to debate Rush. He’s on a mission to destroy this country.
