N. Korea warns S. Korean flights over East Sea may not be safe
SEOUL, March 5 (Yonhap) -- North Korea warned Thursday that it can no longer assure the safety of South Korean passenger planes flying over the East Sea, protesting an upcoming joint military drill by South Korea and the United States.
"As we don't know what kind of military clashes may occur due to the joint war exercise ... we declare that we can no more assure the safety of South Korean passenger flights over our territory, particularly over the East Sea," a North Korean committee said.
Ping!
NK figures it’s time for another US concession.
Give them some GM stocks.:-)
These days, some S. Korean passenger planes are allowed to fly over N. Korean territory. Especially, flights to Europe, which will take the path over the Arctic.
“Pay attention to meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee” is the Ronery One’s plaintive wail ... what is behind this juvenile ploy for attention?
The North Koreans are committing the cardinal sin against SoS Clinton by being "unhelpful."
“we can no more assure the safety of South Korean passenger flights over our territory” .................... I guess its their way of making NKAF Aces.
It’s just that the row boats they have don’t carry the equipment needed to properly id even their own planes...
You are exactly right! Everytime Chia head spouts off, we end up giving him some sort of economic or agricultural stimulus!
In interpreting North Korean “threats”, please keep the following in mind:
Sellin wolf tickets:
The act of someone talking like they are going to do something about or to someone or something, and everybody around them know they are not about to do anything. [This is Chia Pet’s M.O.].
