Banks are on the brink, the stock market is in a torpor, and one of today’s hottest topics at the daily White House briefing was Rush Limbaugh, whom Democrats are trying to hang around the neck of the Republican party.
Robert Gibbs, press secretary for President Barack Obama, was asked if the White House had been complicit in the maneuver — and was not that hypocritical when considering Obama’s emphasis on getting past partisan sniping?

MSNBC is going wild tonight running off several mouths, all railing against Rush again. They even brough in Begala to opine that the Rush is the leader of the Pubbies, when he really is the leader of conservatives. It’s a good way to hide RAT complicity for ruining the economy.

Filbert...I agree 100 percent!!! Obama ‘called’ Rush out by telling duly elected Republican members of the House and Senate that ‘they should not listen to Rush Limbaugh if they want to get anything done...’ He did this during his first week in office. Rush’s ‘I want his policies to fail’ answer was to Sean Hannity’s question of ‘so Rush, what do you think about the President telling Republican members of the House and Senate not to listen to you? And this was all done with ‘rumors’ and ‘hints’ that the Fairness Doctrine was looming large of talk radio...so of course they thought they would muzzle Limbaugh...
They were wrong.
All conservatives must surrender or go to re-education camps.
Rush put 0 in check today, Invited him to Palm Beach to debate, Now He's starting to craw fish and back peddle. Cowards< Rush has more brains in his pinky toe than everyone in 0’s administration combined.
Their strategy is backfiring on them. It’s putting Rush equal with the Presidency.
He’s smart enough not to fall for it. He turned it right back on them. Called Zero out for a debate.
That’s taking the Saul Alinsky “Rules for Radicals” personalize and destroy plan and flushing it right down the toilet.
Instead of responding in kind, Rush has turned it around in calling zero out with an intellectual challenge. No sound bites, no petty back and forth.
He pwned Zero.

Obama is acting even less mature and presidential than I thought he would. And my expectations were pretty low.
It’s from the “Rules for Radicals” playbook. And also the Clintonites, they of the politics of personal destruction.
Rush turned it on them like a boomerang squared! I thought he might wait a bit but he’s already gotten so much attention he just decided to bring out the big guns.
The Zero disciples in the White House have no where to go. He’s called Zero out. It’s brilliant.
