Our contribution to human civilzation in literature, in science, and in culture is non-existent.
Finally.....I agree with El Baradei on something.

What we call the Arabic numeral system was actually a filtering of the Indian numeral system -
link.
As I recall, there are some constellations named by the ancient Arabs.
Other than that....
I can think of nothing contributed except hate and misery.

now what do they have in common that could possibly be restricting their growth...???
hmmmmm....
i see they also have the highest illiteracy rate between 14 to 45 year olds on the planet as a race.
what saddens me is in these people now hidden, lies a child with the potential to cure cancer, to get to the moon, to energise a nation...except they are suppressed..

Nope, they stole that too.
The Hebrew Masseroth came first.

Chemistry. “Alchemy” comes from Al Khem - Egypt in Arabic.
Arabs were good alchemists and doctors during the middle ages.

By ancient, do you mean from the middle-ages? The great astrologers and Mathematicians from the 8th to the 10th centuries in Baghdad under the Ummayyads were mostly Albanian, Armenian, Persian, Greek and Indian converts or dhimmis.
Also, the true greats of the ancient world, whose lands are now sadly classified as Bedo are NOT arabs -- peoples like Egyptians, Libyans, Moroccans, Syrians, Iraqis, Iranis, Turks etc
