Here's the latest email on the Tea Party. I'm not real comfortable with the way things are going. As you said yesterday there's Easter, and it will be confusing to hold events on both the 11th AND the 15th.

Dear Pittsburgh Tea Party Participants:
Nationwide 30,000 people attended a Nationwide Tea Party on last Friday, according to Nationwide Chicago Tea Party Coordinator, Michael Patrick Leahy. Most of the cities got at least 200 participants. According to someone with contacts at the White House, Obama wonders what he should do about the Tea Party movement.
Last night in a conference call, Mr. Leahy shared the following plans. He wants to have nine more events to grow and unite the conservatives in this country. The dates he has chosen are : April 15th (tax day)2009, July 4, 2009, labor day 2009,election day 2009, presidents' day 2010, April 15th (tax day) 2010, July 4,2010, labor day 2010, election day 2010. He wants each event to be bigger than the previous one and he wants to add cities.
While Bob is still going to hold his event through the PennsylvaniaTeaParty.com site on April 11th, TCOT would like us to hold a rain or shine event on April 15th, the same day as the rest of the country. Bob has people who are making hotel reservations to be at his April 11th event and wants to keep it on that day. Bob agreed to promote the April 15th event. Mr. Leahy believes people want to participate in the national event.
Would you all be willing to come to another event in Market Square on April 15th from noon to 1:30? I have submitted an application for the permit. For speakers, someone suggested that we ask participants to stand at a microphone and say why they are upset with excessive government spending and what sacrifices they are being forced to make because of the stimulus plan.
Any suggestions about how we can make the April 15th event excellent? I will need your help. Obviously, we need airtime and to get the word out to others which should not be a problem. I will set up another page on a TCOT Facebook and ask you to join and invite friends.
