A downloadable flyer, suitable for printing, has been put up on the Yahoo groups site for Philadelphia Tea Party II.

One of frankenMonkey's sons did the graphic art for us, and he did a terrific job.

I didn’t know there was a “people seeking freedom” category in the personals...

LOL!!!

...the original "Tea Party" in 1773... where the Sons of Liberty protested new taxes on tea, imposed by parliament, by dumping tea into Boston Harbor....

From Connary Fagen, who did the Philadelphia Tea Party II logo art:

(any proceeds from these sales go to him - it's only right as he did up the artwork for free)

--- BEGIN ---

T-shirts are all available at Spreadshirt:
http://ry-mc.spreadshirt.com/

Spreadshirt tends to not only be higher quality, but they are more affordable than CafePress as well.

Mugs and stickers, which Spreadshirt can't do:

--- END ---

Don't forget to download and distribute the flyer for Philly Tea Party II:

File : /TeaParty2h_Invite.pdf

Description : Flyer for Tea Party II - 8.5 x 11 inches B&W

You can access this file at the URL:

Are y'all getting excited yet?

Thanks George!

I will be sure to be there. It wouldn’t be complete without someone named Adams. : )

Just a question...
http://www.freedomworks.org/petition/iamwithrick/index.html

This website lists a Philadelphia tea party on the 11th (per clicking the green bubble on the map) and on the 16th (per the drop down menu) of April, 2009. Are these related to the one being discussed here? Thanks for the info, and good luck!

Sounds like confusion to me.

Chris is the one with the freedomworks connections; he can get that fixed.

We did the first tea party on on 2/27.

We initially thought about doing the follow-up on April 15th, but we realized that a good number of the people who attended the first rally were small businesspeople, and we opted for the 18th because we didn’t want to force people to take a day off from work in order to attend.

There may or may not be one on the 15th that’s being done by another group; they said that they were going to attend our rally.

I’d return the favor but I’ll be at work on the 15th.

It’s the same event. Ive been trying for a week now to get IT to change that date on their site. Will continue to try. The rally is DEFINATELY on the 18th!
