He used to be a gang member, until he became a gang breaker. Wayne Perryman today plays many roles, but probably the most ironic was the one he played at the Lincoln Day Dinner, in Salem, Oregon on February 12, 2009: Lecturer and chastiser of the Republican Party.
As he explains it, he used to be a Democrat. Why? Because, the “Democrats did the most for Black people,” or so he thought. But, as an Administrator with his local Baptist Church in heavy contact with young people and preaching the Lord’s laws, they started asking, “but why are you a Democrat? Democrats believe in abortion and same sex marriage, something our Church does not. How can you be a Democrat?” He told the young people, “I’ll get back to you.” And, so the research began on what became his book, UNFOUNDED LOYALTY. That was about 2002.
Six years later, he’s an “Independent Conservative.” His research took him down a historical trail he never imagined; made him angry, and changed his life. What he found out astounded him. And, now he astounds groups he speaks to. Oprah’s staff refuses to review his books or have him on her show. Why? Because he has exposed the truth…not the lies which have been taught to generations of Americans over the last 100 years. And, those students who asked him the original questions about being a Democrat? They know the truth. His 16 year old son, who was ridiculed for being a Palin supporter during the last election is one of them. He proudly told his Dad, “I’m a Conservative!”
Wayne Perryman can’t figure out why the Republican party, the PARTY of LINCOLN did not have a multi-million dollar party for Lincoln’s 200th Birthday. “The man saved America, and Black Americans,” he proclaims. But, even Republican’s ignore the history. Well, many Republican’s and most American’s do not know the history, or like some in the media, refuse to acknowledge it.
Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson make money (through extortion) and help the Democrats keep black folks “on the plantation” by keeping them agitated and depressed, continually convincing them the Republicans are their enemies. Wayne Perryman has, however, exposed the real history. Here are a very few tidbits from his book, UNFOUNDED LOYALTY:
1. “For 150 years blacks were victims of terrorist attacks by the Democrats and their Klan supporters, including lynchings, beatings, rapes, and mutilations.”
2. “On the issue of slavery, the Democrats literally gave their lives to expand it; the Republicans gave their lives to ban it.”
3. “From 1866 to 1928 Black Americans voted primarily for Republicans.”
4. “Many believed the Democrats had a change of heart and fell in love with blacks. To the contrary, history reveals the Democrats didn’t fall in love with black folks, they fell in love with the black vote knowing this would be their ticket into the White House.”
5. He also exposes the Democrats role in creating Jim Crow laws, blocking Civil Rights Laws from the late 1800's to the 1960's, including Al Gore Sr.’s record breaking filibuster of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, which the Republican’s finally succeeded in getting passed.
Wayne Perryman’s career spans newspaper publishing, radio talk show hosting, and investigating discrimination cases, as well as his work with his community, including his community Baptist Church. But, quite literally, he may have cracked the Democrats armor. If only the media, the history book authors and teachers, and the Republicans step up and proclaim the truth. At least as Mr. Perryman says, “inform not indict,” which is his purpose. Maybe, just maybe, Wayne Perryman should be the head of the Republican Party.

The article does raise a good point. Why aren’t Republicans doing more to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Lincoln’s birth? He pretty much put the Republican Party on the national map.

There is nothing 'real' about our political system. People figured out how propaganda worked back in the 1930's. We are as controlled as any communist country ever was.

It was in the late 20's when the Blacks quit voting in numbers for Republicans....why? PROPAGANDA....from newspapers during an economically trying time... I don't think we are controlled as any Communist country, as you say....however, we're on the brink...we'll see if the Internet can change that....

There have been few FReepers more caustically, angrily, bitingly critical of Black political habits than myself, but this is entirely due to their apparently unbreakable alliance with immoral ideological movements. Unfortunately, at the same time there is a small minority of "palaeos" to whom "conservatism" demands the reinstitution of "jim crow." The insistence that moral conservatism demands some sort of henotheistic/polygenistic racialism is as hateful as the notion that "compassion" demands abortion and homosexuality. Yet these people (the racialists) will--mark my words--be quoted and paraded before Black people as "typical conservtives." Mark my word.
The fact that white and Black chr*stians have never been able to look at each other as co-religionists illustrates the problems with incarnationism.
Yep if you’ve never read the book it is worth getting. Just for the historical referances in the footnotes it is worth it. We have a copy that we lent out to several guys Dh works with who are black. The one guy said that he had been raised on lies and felt betrayed.
PERRYMAN should be ALL over EVERY Republican gathering!!!! I’m the one who wrote this article....because I was at this Lincoln Dinner.....he’s a very good speaker, and authentic in his revelations.
When I was a kid I went to church because I thought it was a pretty good show for a nickel.

Here’s the thing that is always gonna trip us up - revolutionaries, or people who are against us, are always going to be more passionate than we are. The person who is trying to “change” or overturn the existing system for whatever reason - against those who are trying to hold on to their lives - always has an advantage. Can we arouse the passion to protect what we have to the level of those who want to take it? That’s what we need to figure out.
With their votes going 90-95% to democrats, blacks have a lot more influence in politics than any other ethnic group, including whites.
If whites vote in approximately equal numbers for democrats and republicans, then the black vote will always be the tie breaker. Being the tie-breaking group gives the black minority a lot more power than any constituency ever in the history of America. And the democratic party leadership knows it and they will take advantage of blacks as long as blacks allow themselves to be duped.
I don't know about you, but I don't consider a "dupe" to be at all influential. Influenced, yes - but influential? Hardly.
