Did he HAVE to release a statement?

You people are fools.
Go ahead, shoot a guy with a 100% VOTING record, in fact, shoot ‘em all.
Then when there are no allies left, I’ll be here to remind you who killed ‘em all.

get mailers from him all the time asking for support for the Pro-Life Movement. Guess Ill have to start sending them back with a big red FAKE on them. That's ridiculous! He has a 100% pro life voting record. He's putting his mouth where his money is. Are you? Is Judy Brown? I worked for Paul and Judy Brown 28 years ago when they ran LAPAC and they were making a living off the pro life movement then and their making a living off the pro life movement still. Brownback just votes pr life. He doesn't get paid for it. It's not fair to call him a fake.

I think he’s trying to get rid of her so he can go to the Gov’s mansion and she can’t run for his seat.

That may be true...
but, he needs to come out and say it.

Did he HAVE to release a statement? Precisely, all Brownback had to do was say NOTHING.
Sebelius is not just another "pro-choice" 'Rat, she is as radically pro-abortion as they come.

She is far more dangerous as Secretary of HHS than she could EVER be as governor of Kansas.

I agree that it was a pretty lame move releasing that statement but I can’t advocte throwing him overboard for that. After all he does have a record he can stand on.

Brownback: 100% Pro-Life voting record.
Then why on earth throw support behind someone who thinks "Tiller the Baby Killer" is a peachy-keen kinda guy? As far as I am concerned, you are either with us (conservatives) or against us (bloodthirsty liberals). Period. That's the problem, and why we are in the mess we are in now-we have a bunch of wusses and RINOs in Congress who want to capitulate "reach across the aisle" or just plain out sell out(to be "bipartisan").The Rats would NEVER give in-NEVER.
Enough already....it's either-or,conservative or liberal, patriot or traitor.I'm done giving ANY of them quarter.

Brownback's also pro-Shamnesty.
The RNC is in the gutter floating toward a sewer drain.

Read what Jill Stanek and others said in the article. When the moderate RINOs start seeing someone like Brownback support a militant abortionist, any hope of fighting her nomination is endangered.

There’s not going to a fight against her nomination. She’s a good as done. There are more than a handful of liberal republicans and the entire deomcrat causcus that will line up behind her.

The Republican Party will never effectively represent conservative values until it can impose the kind of discipline we saw the Democrats impose on Senator Joe Lieberman of Connecticut about an issue which was equally important to them. Discipline in a party is the stuff which makes government work and opposition work.
Brownback's problem is, regrettably, not a problem of discipline because the party has virtually no discipline, hence, no effectiveness. Brownback's problem is a moral one. His is a moral betrayal. It says to the world that all of the support and all of the votes which you seem to cherish were really not made in earnest, not important. They are less important than the noblesse oblige which prompted him to flack for the enemy.
Brownback's betrayals says, you need not take any of my votes or any of my pronouncements on this subject life and death seriously. Much like George Bush in pandering after the Clintons in the White House said to the world, "you were right, those Republicans were mean-spirited and sex obsessed and there really was no basis for the impeachment. They put the country through the agony for nothing."
