US: 'Inescapable' movement to Palestinian state

JERUSALEM – U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton promised Tuesday to work with the incoming Israeli government, but delivered a clear message that could put her at odds with the country's next leader: Movement toward the establishment of a Palestinian state is "inescapable."

Clinton also said the U.S. would soon send two envoys to Syria. It was the most significant sign yet that the Obama administration is ready to mend relations with the Damascus regime. The U.S. withdrew its ambassador in 2005, accusing Syria of supporting terrorism.

"We have no way to predict what the future with our relations concerning Syria might be," Clinton said. "There has to be some perceived benefit of doing so for the United States and our allies and our shared values. But I think it is a worthwhile effort to go and begin these preliminary conversations."

We knew the pandering to our enemies, and those of Israel, would reach new hieghts.....Obama would much rather spend money on buying votes and power, than national security and our military.

We are heading down a path of destruction! America must wake up by 2010 or we are finished.

Pssst, Hillary. Every President since Bush 41 has supported a Pali state. Wishing it so doesn't make it so, since there's no basis for a deal with Hamas refusing to make peace and Fatah insisting on the suicidal "right of return."

And young Assad will smile that he's outlasted another President determined to modify his behavior. Daddy would be proud.

It has become crystal clear to me that Zero and the Clinton crowd have been sold out to the MUzzies, particularly with the Mideast oil producers:

-Closing down domestic oil fields
-Bill on the payroll of Dubai
-Bill on wrong side of the Bosnian conflict
-State for Palestinians
-Money to Hamas to rebuild
-Failure of Bill to properly respond to obvious terrorist attacks (let’s lob a missile on an abandoned camp)
-Sided with Muzzies in East Timor
-Turning Guantanamo prisoners loose
-Railing repeatedly that the war was lost in Iraq
-Did the Saudi’s and Soros bankroll the speculators that ran up oil prices
-Were the Saudi’s and Soros behind the $550 billion wired out of US banks in 2 hours on 9-18-2008 (per Kanjorski)
-Anti-Israel appointments by Obama

I am sure I am leaving some out

Establishment of a Palestinian state would appear to be a failed enterprise. Israel pulled out of the Gaza and West Bank (except for military interventions) several years ago. There was ample opportunity for the Palestinians to form a state or states all along. There is apparently no leadership interested or powerful enough to form a state. Hamas is nothing more than an armed street gang or disorganized crime ring. No state can arise unless and until the Palestinian people are more interested in their own life and they are in the death of the Jews.

It is odd how the same people who said that Iraq could never become self-governing think that the US or the UN can just speak a state into existence. The Iraqis are striving to form a state and deserve our support. The Palestinians have yet to indicate any real interest in forming a state. I hope they are able to get there act together and do it but it does not look good.

Mentsch tracht, Gott lacht: Man plans, G-d laughs.

We'll see, my pretty, we'll see, how "inescapable" your plans are when G-d is done with them. Machshayfa! Biblical for witch.

Very few nations have come into existence by virtue of any other nation’s consent, with Israel being a notable exception. The only question is how many countries would formally recognize a Palestinian declaration of independence and sovereignty? Why don’t they quit whining and just do it?

Hillary does not need to go to Israel and try to run the place. She needs a swift kick in the rear.

"The United States will be vigorously engaged in the pursuit of a two-state solution every step of the way," she said. "The inevitability of working toward a two state-solution is inescapable."

A two-state solution is not a solution to the Israeli-Arab conflict, but would be exactly contrary to that goal. It will only guarantee a major worsening of that conflict if Obama succeeds in bringing it to fruition as his Secretary of State says is inevitable. If the US abandons it's support for Israel and begins backing the so-called Palestinians in that conflict, which I believe is Obama's real intent, I have no doubt that such a reversal of our 6 decades of support for Israel will bring God's judgment down on America as He promised in holy scripture he would do to any nation that makes itself an enemy of His chosen people, IOW the nation of Israel.

God gave Abraham this unconditional promise as recorded in Genesis 12:3;

"And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed."

That was not a conditional promise, it was unconditional, unbreakable, and applicable to any and all nations whose foreign policy is deleterious to Israel's best interests. The American colonies were a refuge for many European Jews who came here to escape persecution, and that refuge continued to bring Jewish immigrants into the United States long after we severed our ties to Great Britain by force of arms. If we turn against Israel now that she needs our support more than ever in the face of a hostile European Union, we will negate all the positive effects promised as a result of our favorable relationship with Israel up until now, and thereby invite God's judgment on our own nation. God can and will preserve and protect Israel without our help if we turn against the apple of His eye (Zec 2:8, Deu 32:10), but we can't survive as a great and free nation without His protection from a world that envies and hates us.

Hillary Clinton is trying to bring down the only Democracy in the Middle East. May G-d be with Israel.

It's not just inescapable, it's the policy of Israel, and also the US. The issue is how you get there. Bibi has the right idea, establish a thriving economy, cease incitement and establish, if not pro-western, at least a non-barbaric educational system and media. Destroy Hamas and turn Gaza over to the peaceful palestinians, and a palestinian state will be born. It a generational project, but if The One gets on board, it's possible by the end of his second term. I doubt he can wait that long.

For the time being the Arabs could care less about the Palestinians. With the low oil prices they have much larger economic fears and concerns

I really don’t see any big push for a Palestinian state...not from the Europeans. They now know how toxic Muslims can be within their own borders

Great. Send 2 envoys to Syria in exchange for Syria doing nothing! They tried to build a nuke plant, they allow their country to be a transit for Iranian weapons to Hezbullah, they allow terrorists in Iraq to flee and take refuge... and we reward them!

Just like the Palestinians.

Israel is in for a rough 4 years.

On 9/11 I said that if we don’t take this opportunity to obliterate Damascus, Bagdad and Teheran we will never be rid of these bastards. I was right. Now our enemies loom larger than before and America and it’s leaders want nothing more than to fall asleep again! We deserve the righteous Heavenly a**-kicking we are poised to receive!
