Word up - we must organize. Organize to lobby, to protest, get others involved...
We have started in on grass roots organizing to support a draft resolution of state sovereignty for Connecticut. We need voices, many voices, loud voices, to chime and get legislators to respond. With grass roots organizing, we need to develop skills and resources as a conservative lobby. try metaqubit(at)aoldotcom
Hey nutmeg, could you ping the CT FReepers, please?
Ping for CT Sovereignty~
Interested in joining in to help out.
Please keep me posted.
Is there anything going on anywhere else that we can joinin on?
The RNC and mainstream Republicans do not recognize FR as a valid organization to be listened to
All it seems, is that this website can be used as a sounding board among friends, there is no effort that is common, none done that is long lasting, and o concensus.
I would love to see FR used in the way you describe, but the people we ping on this have to actually have the desitre to go forward and do something, not just sit in your computer chair and type mean words about liberals we disagree with.
That seems to be the difference between liberals and conservatives - we don't have the free time to go out and march. We have jobs (Well I don't right now). We have children and we have lives.
On the other hand it has come to the point where we are going to have to try to make sacrifices to get to rallies and meetings. Stratford is quite a way from where live. I dunno if I can get there.
I’m a former CT resident. Though I wouldn’t mind running back up north, despite their recent same-sex marriage law, and firearm preemption law.
Plus, the girl I’ve been interested in, she’s from CT but goes to school in NYC. Now I’m just getting ahead of myself.
They hang out here: http://www.edgartownyc.org/
We are trying to set up a state wide tea party...National Tax Day Tea Party April 15th. Road Rally to Hartford...
If you are interested or involved in any of the ones being planned in CT...let me know...will also need to know who is the organizer, with their email address. If you are not near one of the local rallies and want to join in the Road Rally...I will need your town.
Take Care!
