They're teaching "faith" in public schools:

Alicia Garcia's father was serving in Iraq, and her letter asks Obama to "please send my dad home." But even before the letter started making its way to the White House, the girl's family received word that her dad would return this month. The news has cemented the fourth-grader's faith in the new president.

"My dad's coming home," she said solemnly. "I think it's because Obama won."

Lord Obama, I am not worthy that you should even open my mail, speak but the word and my daddy will come home.

Sheesh ...

I blame the parents.

I make sure my kids understand that their teachers are likely to be anti-american idiots who will try to indoctrinate them with an extreme leftist ideology.

I also warn them that if they don’t get good grades in college, they may be stuck as teachers themselves.

My nephew says that his 1st grade class watches Obama commercials “all the time”.

To a 1st grader, “all the time” is somewhat subjective, but the kid is still 100% in the tank for Bambi. Its disturbing.

The teacher waited for them to finish their candy. This was what she had been trained for, and she knew that she would teach her children well and that they would grow up to be good citizens. She looked out of the window, at the sun over the land. It was a good land, and vast. A land to breathe in. But she was warmed not by the sun but by the thought that throughout the school and throughout the land all children, all men and all women were being taught with the same faith, with variations of the same procedures. Each according to his age group. Each according to his need.
