WASHINGTON (AP) President Barack Obama's Treasury secretary says the administration has inherited "the worst fiscal situation in American history."
Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner told the House Ways and Means Committee Tuesday that Obama entered office facing a $1.3 trillion deficit about 10 percent of the nation's economic output. Republicans have complained that Obama's budget proposal would balloon the deficit even higher, to $1.75 trillion.

If the Obama Administration were a rock band, they would be called Big Tax Barack and the Evaders.

Anybody watching this testimony?
A Rep just asked about the loss of thousands of oil and gas jobs AND the rise in energy cost to the public if the “cab and trade” is passed.
Geithner says its because of the deficit they inherited.
THAT WAS HIS ANSWER?!!

How much *has* the stock market gone down since Democrats took control over both branches of Congress?
Yes, Obama has inherited a very bad fiscal crisis. Caused by Congressional DEMOCRATS.

Geithner says its because of the deficit they inherited. Apparently he is focused and this is just what we need in Washington, right?

Relax.
Mombasa’s Hegelian Dialectic is going exactly as planned.
In the “synthesis” 3rd act, he’ll announce his brilliant solution which will save us all.

He inherited a tax cheat who now runs the IRS.
This whole adminsitration is one terrible debacle.
And to think it all started in 2006 when stupid voters decided to give Nancy Pelosi control of the House.

BS! You can clearly watch Obama rise to power by watching the drop in the stock market. Unemploment was 5.5 percent in Nov of ‘06 when the dems took the Senate and House, you can watch it imediately start to rise and continue to watch it rise as Obama took the WH. Now who’s fault is it again?

True...that whole Reichstag Fire thingy kinda blew up in their faces.

And to think it all started in 2006 when stupid voters decided to give Nancy Pelosi control of the House. The voters weren't wholly to blame.
The GOP-majority Congress was an accessory before the fact. There's a reason why they weren't re-elected.
Had they simply done what they'd been elected to do, Pelosi & Co. would still be on the sidelines.
