We need to slow America down. Slow down, America, and slow down the President and the Congress. Everyone knows that speed kills and haste makes waste. The intent is not to cause pain...but to get America to slow down and think about what we are doing.
A funeral procession...
No laws broken - just a slow and steady crawl along the highways and byways - don’t stop, just take a leisurely drive - let everyone know that America needs to slow down a little and not rush into anything...and it could be, like the man said, on any given Sunday.
Of course a REALLY aggressive move would be to do it every morning on the way to work starting at 6am and every afternoon starting at 4pm until we get the full attention of the public, certainly in no more than a week.
Slow down every major artery to a crawl - freeways and highways - with long, slooooooooooow processions into every major city right around the time everyone is coming home from their weekend. Movable Sunday night vigils back into the city...maybe back into every city.
Funeral processions with lights on and flags, placards and all the signs you want to put on cars and trucks. No one is left behind, in the event they are too old, too young, or physically incapable of doing it. Moms don’t need babysitters, families can go together. Make sandwiches, drop everyone off where they need to go after it’s over, head on home or back to work. Plenty of time - we’ll be in front of the line!
Genuine, no kidding lights-on funeral processions - Death of the American Way of Life processions with (optional, but very effective, if donated) hearses or town cars in every lane ...in every city in America.
Bring the family, make it a nice Sunday drive with some like minded friends...it doesn’t take a whole lot of people to clog every main road in a city - 30 or so coming from each direction into LA, Chicago, NYC, Boston...the smaller the city the easier to do, but no logistical genius required to map it out either... If you did it in LA - fill each lane with a 60mph vehicle starting 30 miles out on the 405 North and South, the 101 East and West, etc…just set out at a time that will put you thirty miles from the city at precisely 5pm - meet up at a strategic spot - let’s call it the Freedom On-ramp - and that’s all the organization you need.
Just a thought...from a frustrated person who just can not take time away from his business for such a small return on the investment (I am, after all a businessman and ROI is everything these days) but I could probably field a good sized team on a weekend.

Not in this form...I shortened it and changed a few of the ideas based on some input from Sunday...

Exactly...I don’t think we have until summer for a big event...I was thinking that this type of guerilla event could be put together quickly and make an impact...I am trying desperately to come up with a protest we can put outt there that doesn’t require permits and months of planning, but is perfectly legal...
Thelma and Louise would definitely be on Obomber’s side...
