I haven’t had time to watch the speech but doubtless those who have will have plenty to say in response in the comments. I did see that Rush revisited his point about wanting The One to fail, which gives the media ample excuse to run with it, sans context, for another week. Stephanopoulos used it to make Cantor squirm on “This Week” this morning and Rahm Emanuel took full advantage by painting the GOP as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Rush Inc. All part of the strategy to make the party’s approval rating among independents look like Limbaugh’s does.

Angry? Sinister?
It was all about those words liberals love “hope”. It was positive, uplifting, funny, and conveyed the Conservative message better than any speech I’ve heard in decades.
“Sinister speech.” Well the stock market is a daily vote about Obama and so far the market agrees with Rush.
Rush is just saying what Reagan would have said.

Has CNN ever listened to the Left , Move On.ORG or Hollywood the past 8 years? what a joke.
The MSM will demonize anyone that simply states conservative philosophy, now is not the time to back off, tone down, or water down this philosophy (Steele), now is the time to stand and fight.
It was one solid round house kick after another. I have never been more proud to be a dittohead.
With CNN and the rest of the DNC media, it is so easy to cross a line.
All you have to do is not grovel, not appease, not bow and be very very ‘umble, not suck up to the new ruling class, not grin and nod at every hateful stupid thing the left says.

Great media we have here. Obama’s idiotic policies are wiping out trillions in Americans’ retirement accounts, and they’re worried about whether a radio commentator was impolite to the president in a speech.
The media so far past simple bias I’m not sure there’s a word for their actions.
He talked about Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, so yes, CNN considers that angry and sinister.

Rush just did his usual off the top of his head talk, exactly like his radio show...the difference is, conservatives were in the audience and were allowed to cheer and clap (much as we do silently every day).

Don’t forget that for liberals good is bad and bad is good. Therefore, when they say “change” they mean “even more of the same” and when they see “funny and uplifting” they say that it is “angry and sinister.” Which just proves that they are totally out of touch with reality.
They should ask Harry Reid if it’s a good idea to take on Rush.
