That's weird that he is so positive about her. Everything I heard about this books was that it was a hit piece.

That's what editors [a combination of English teacher and Commissar] are for.

See, this torques me to no end. The editor of "People" magazine is hired to help Palin do her bio. I made this case to Karl Rove and Bush in 2003-2004: hire ME, a conservative, a historian, a Christian who KNOWS AND UNDERSTANDS conservatism, what Christians value, who won't denigrate it. I'm not being funny here.
Reagan made three great mistakes in his post Democrat life: he didn't kill the DOE and DOEd; he pulled the Marines out of Lebanon; and he allowed that boob, Edmund Morris---who never "got" Reagan---full access to his presidency to write the absolute worst official biography in history.
I wish Palin would learn from this. Get writers who understand conservatives and Christians, and you'll have a much better product.

I know nothing about the author or the book, but they might be trying to lure Palin fans into buying this book, by dishing out positive messages.
Palin herself has critisized the book for at least one factual mistake.

If McCain weren’t such a moderate RINO weenie, and his campaign not out to knee-cap her, they could have won.
