At 2 minutes, 20 seconds into this C-Span video clip, Rep. Paul Kanjorski of Pennsylvania explains how the Federal Reserve told Congress members about a "tremendous draw-down of money market accounts in the United States, to the tune of $550 billion dollars." According to Kanjorski, this electronic transfer occured over the period of an hour or two.

Here is a transcript of what Kanjorski says in the video:

"On Thursday Sept 15, 2008 at roughly 11 AM The Federal Reserve noticed a tremendous draw down of money market accounts in the USA to the tune of $550 Billion dollars in a matter of an hour or two.

Money was being removed electronically.

The treasury tried to help with $150 Billion.

But could not stem the tide.

It was an electronic run on the banks

The treasury intervened but had they not closed down the accounts they estimated that by 2 PM that afternoon. Within 3 hours. $5.5 Trillion would have been withdrawled and collapsed and within 24 hours the world economy."

Kanjorski does not provide further details.

A Google search to verify this produces zero results.

This is what caused McCain to suspend his campaign and return to DC. If you remember, 0bama said he would continue campaigning and ‘they can call me if they need me’. With this new info, it sounds like 0bama knew what was going on. I suspect if you get to the bottom of who caused the run, you will get to the bottom of who was manipulating the citizens into putting 0bama in office. If Big Media had done their jobs and informed the citizens of 0bama’s background and his agenda, he would have never gotten near the Oval Office.

I still think this is mis-heard and the quote is not quite right.

9/15 was a Monday, not Thursday. Kanjorski was TOLD on 9/15 that the run occurred the previous Thursday...which was 9/11. I do not, any more, believe in coincidences.

I have thought this since Kanjorski spilled the news. I’m not a conspiracy theorist but I don't see how the majority of the populace could have actually voted for this empty suit. I suspect that 0bama is the puppet and Soros is the puppeteer.

he says on 9/15 we was told that on thursday the run happened. thursday was 9/11.

This just could not happen unless a contrived effort. I believe and said from the start that this was the October surprise the RATS leaked out. I believe King Obama knew something was up that would get him elected. He might not have known the particulars but he damn well knew. Combine this with all the voter fraud and the constant help the MSM and the Hollywierd types, King Obama was a shoe in.

I really wish FREP was organized like a traditional chat board but I don’t run it and am grateful it is here.

That said, the question is not about opinions on this but does anybody know if anything “official” action has been taken on it, any news or, perish the thought, investigative reporting.

I saw one piece on Politico on 2-12 that was like...mis-spoke, not a real issue, nothing to see here...move on.
