FREDERICK, Md. (AP) - Frederick police say four tons of fertilizer have been stolen from a farm supply store.
The fertilizer disappeared from the Southern States store in the 500 block of East South Street in Frederick some time Saturday night or early Sunday.
A store representative told police that 2,000 pounds of urea and 6,000 pounds of other fertilizer are missing. The fertilizer was in white 50-pound bags with a company logo.
Lt. Clark Pennington says they don't know what the motive behind the theft is, but they have notified the Maryland Coordination Analysis Center, which alerts all federal agencies of the theft.

Consider some guy that lost his job and is trying to feed a family by moonlighting as a landscaper or yard service. 4 tons of fertilizer spread over a bunch of lawns at going rate would be a lot of income. I would suspect that this scenario is much more likely than terrorist activities. Besides what terrorist would be familiar with the layout of a farm supply center and be able to get in and get 4 tons of fertilizer and get away without being detected?
Hmmm... No ammonium nitrate was involved. The dim media said “other fertilizer” when the actual theft was of “19-19-19” which stands for the percentage of Nitrogen- Phosphorus-Potassium. Just fertilizer. Neither it, nor urea is explosive, or easily combustible.

I have to admit that every passing day brings more and more outrage; not uttering “terrorist” or “terrorism” is beyond belief. How many days will it be before this administration starts calling them “freedom fighters”?

This is not good. The attack Biden predicted happening in six months may come sooner rather than later. I pray they find the people who did this soon.
I hope there weren’t prayer rugs found at the scene of the theft.

LOL...this is a piddling amt of fertilizer. I suspect the theft is about farming not making bombs. If you’re making a bomb the urea is all thats necessary (aside from some fuel oil) so why steal 3Xs that amt in P and K?
I’d say that the possibility that we will be called the “terrorists” is already in their plans. Obama has already warned us not to “resist”. We are already the “bitter clingers”. The rhetoric against us will only mount with more and more vitriol.
Any attempt will be labeled as “right-wing” and “conservative”. It will be used to crack down on conservatives and if it is any kind of successful attack they will move to outlaw the Republican party.
The NYC Fire Marshal would take a dim view of cast blasting in the city, as would the authorities in NJ.
EVERY stick and cap is counted: 1)at the magazine 2)when deliverd to the job 3) when loaded in the hole 4)when excess is reloaded for shipment back to the magazine 5)when it is off loaded and restocked.
The the magazine is inventoried each week.
And may God help you if any thing missing at each count.
Each shot has a written plan and each shot has a report detailing powder used per hole, caps per hole, delay series, burden & spacing and seismic results.
