Speaking to a packed room at the opening day of CPAC in Washington D.C. yesterday, former UN Ambassador John Bolton warned convention attendees of something he believes "goes to the heart of the Obama administration" and that will affect not only us but our children and grandchildren. No, not the stimulus bill (although that’s a good guess) - it's what he termed "the coming war on American sovereignty."
The problem, he said, is that liberals believe differences in policies that affect Americans shouldn't be debated here at home, but on the international stage - and we can expect it to take a variety of guises, from global warming to the Law of the Sea Treaty to arms control. In other words, look for American policy to conform to so-called international standards and international law.
Some of the policies that will make us weaker are already under way, said Bolton, including the cut in defense spending.
In conclusion, Bolton said the Obama administration "doesn't understand so much of what we need to do to protect American security. I think it's clear that our national security is at risk under this administration. I think it's a dangerous time in the United States."

Our “Sovereignty’” should never be left up to those in the White House. Our “Sovereignty’” belongs to the people of the United States and it’s existance or nonexistance is our decision.
I only heard parts of Rush’s ‘first international’ speech and I loved every word of it. Rush speaks the truth. No wonder liberals hate him.

God TELLS us to pray for those in authority over us so that we can live in peace. There’s a good reason to pray for Obama. God told me years ago to pray for the Clintons and it was hard to do that, believe me. He and his entire cabinet and Congress need our prayers. This is a spiritual battle, not a personality battle. He tells us to pray for those who despitefully use us. How much clearer can it be? We do not battle flesh and blood but powers and principalities and there are plenty of those over Washington, DC. Pray against them in Jesus’ name.

I think I could get behind John for president. I feel Palin is a dead horse even though I love her policies, she’s too polarizing, and too engrained in the minds of people through the negative media coverage. We need a fresh pick for 12, not a failed attempt, Bold and Fresh ideas, and strong stance for defense... as by 2012, we’ll need it!
I would respectfully disagree. Reagan did an excellent job much to clean up as much of Carter's failures as he could. But many of the Carter legacies are still problems today.
1.The overthrow of the Shah in Iran and replacing him with violent extremists who hate America and use war and terrorism to destroy the US.
2. Abandoning the Panama Canal and ceding Latin America to leftists such as Noriega and destroying American influence there.
3. Creation of an intrusive, confiscatory bureaucracy that stifles American inititive and prosperity.
4. Destruction of the CIA as an effective intelligence gathering organization.
5. Turning the State Department into a leftist, anti-American bureaucracy.
6. Encouraging the spread of communist and anti-American sentiment in Asia and Africa.
7. The undermining of American manufacturing industry. Most American manufacturers became uncompetitive in the late 1970’s and it has been a downward slide ever since.
8. Increasing the power and influence of the trial lawyers and their ability to put individuals and businesses into bankruptcy.
9. Creating the “blame America ethos”. Carter said Americans are selfish and must sacrifice and that Americans are the cause of the worlds problems.
10. Encouraging the Communist regime in North Korea to adapt a strongly Anti-American position.
11. Doing everything he could to convince the rest of the world that Americans were weak and would not stand up for their friends or oppose their enemies.
12. Using the power of the Federal government to create and promote affirmative action quotas.
13. Convincing great numbers of American people not to be self reliant but to believe that they are entitled to handouts from the government.
I am sure there are several more but the legacy of the Carter Administration is still with us. The damage they did to America is ongoing and still weakens our country.
4 years? I believe that if Obama is given another 6 months, America will be on the verge of a total collapse. Civil unrest will surely follow as the Anti-American agenda gets forced down the throats of Americans before any of it can be digested and understood.
By the time it is digested and understood it will be too late.
In my opinion, the Conservative Party needs to find a leader and that leader must advocate for Term Limits and give the American people the unconditional right to impeach any position, at anytime if during their term they are deemed incompetent by the majority.
When they are howling at the pumps, crying over "food or fuel", wailing about starvation or freezing/heatstroke, the blame will fall squarely on EEEEEvil oil, Electricity, natural gas companies, etc., and the MSM will put it there, backed by the assurances of DUH-1 and his minions.
At that point I will hang up my hard hat, don the blue vest and go put bicycles together in the back room at walmart so I have enough off time to round up and dry animal dung to burn for heat. Gotta love those Liberals.

His pick for DHS is proof of that....her policy to protect us is the ‘peter pan’ principle....be nice and the terrorists will just disappear in a cloud of fairy dust.

I agree with you 100% that Obama is a much worse president than Carter. When you look at the damage that the Carter Administration did to our country, it is scary to think of the damage Obama will do. Please, be careful and stay safe.
The democrats were eager to get him removed from the U.N. position. He knows where of he speaks. We ignore it ... AT OUR OWN RISK.
That is exactly what the socialists want ... international law, international sharing of wealth (ours to them), international army and defense force, international cooperation in seizing of guns, feeding programs, health programs,taking over of children for their indoctrination, how the government is elected/chosen, ad infinite um, a complete persecution of Christianity, step by step, and implementing immediately. Slavery, no freedom, speaking out will mean arrest and imprisonment or death. No trial by jury, etc,.
It is a plan of Satan and his minions to openly rule the world. Be warned. There will be no coming back. Notice how fast Obama has worked to act on many fronts this last month. He is only just begun.

I pray every day that the truth about this evil administration is revealed by whatever means the Lord wants, & whomever He wants to use (Rush, Hannity, Bolton or even myself).
I pray that every evil work, every evil plan & every lie spoken by the pagans now in charge will be revealed for all to see. I believe we are now at a point in history where the lip service to faith either ceases or we all perish.
