Maybe the Catholic Church should worry about what’s being taught at so-called “Catholic” colleges, too.
I open the latest Boston College alumni magazine to find out that they’ve created a new major: “Islamic Civilizations and Societies.”

Then another article turns into a conservative-bashing fest:

And the Church wonders why liberal cr*p happens in schools?
What dioucese/archdiocese is that in?
Maybe those Cafeteria Catholics should find another Church/Faith/Religion?
The Catholic Church is clear. Dogma and Doctrine. It’s not that difficult to understand.
So, the Catholic Church is clear and always has been. The American Catholic Church is far less clear and will change once American Catholics demand change. As far as I can see, many American Catholics don’t want to follow the Catholic Church.
Granted, real Catholics and the Catholic Church wonder why liberal crap happens in Catholic schoola, colleges being the least of the problem. Look at the elementary or k-8 schools to see where it starts. Then look at the parents which where it all really starts.
Liberal Crap happens in Catholic Schools because parents don’t parent their kids. It’s really not that hard to understand. And these same parents, don’t teach their kids about the Church (if they’re Catholics).
Looking at Catholic Colleges is way too late, imo. If anyone, any parent, waits until their kids are in college to expect them to understand and follow the teachings of the Catholic Church, they waited far too long. The College isn’t to blame, nor is the high school or elementary school Parents are to blame.
And again, any college student that isn’t able to survive and succeed in any college, including a Catholic college, has no business being there.
To hell with this victim mentality, no matter where it comes from.
Boo Hoo the Catholic Universities and Colleges aren’t as Catholic as some would like. Do we really expect them to be?
They exist because there’s a market for them/alumni that support the schools. No one is forcing anyone else to attend these schools.
The Catholic Church (not the American Catholic Church and not those who claim to be Catholic but really aren’t) doesn’t really give as you said a crap about this crap. The Catholic Church doesn’t give a crap about this (per your words) because it’s not about the Catholic Church and the humans that are prominent.
Nice slam on the Catholic Church. Fortunately, any real Catholic doesn’t fall for this “crap.”
