Our God is a jealous God?
My God isn’t.
I’m surprised at some of the posts I read on this thread.
Our God is a jealous God. However, He is not jealous OF us... He is jealous FOR us. He wants us all to Himself. He will not share His people with any other idol or god.

Why? I got the impression that you were Catholic. Do the Catholics no longer worship the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob? The God who calls himself Jehovah? God the Father, Jesus Christ (God the Son) and God the Holy Spirit?
What does God say about His jealousy in His word:
Exodus 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
Exodus 34:14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:
Deuteronomy 4:24 For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.

Seems that God (The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit) has no problem with His jealousy, why should you?
And more on topic, while some Catholic schools maintain good Catholic doctrine and train the children correctly, others have instructors taught in these so called Catholic colleges that have abandoned Christ for a liberal "feel good" god who lets them do whatever they want to do. (Want to have a club celebrating perverse sexual behavior and have the college pay for it? Sure no problem!)
Homeschool is the only way to be certain that your kids will be strong enough to stand against the liberal enemies when they get to college. Lots of Catholic school kids (and public school kids too, of course) get to college and abandon their faith.
