CANTOR: George, nobody -- no Republican, no Democrat -- wants this president to fail, nor do they want this country to fail or the economy to fail. What we did in the House during the first weeks of the stimulus debate is to come up with a plan. I personally handed that plan to President Obama at his suggestion. He said, "Bring us your ideas."

We developed a plan that, frankly, we felt could create twice as many jobs at half the cost. Now, that plan did not make its way into Speaker Pelosi's stimulus bill. But that doesn't mean...

Newsflash -- Yes, Mr. Cantor we DO want Obama to fail to turn the US into a communist dictatorship, which IS what is going to happen, if Obama is successful in implementing his radical marxist agenda.

Eric Cantor could have said any number of things - some probably even less helpful - or gone into deer-in-the-headlights "duh" mode, but he didn't. He walked into a socialist com center under his own power and lost control of his message. S**t happens, but it calls into question (yet once again) the capabilities of GOP grand poobahs. Maybe the bench is just too shallow, but how about someone who can detect and at least fake umbrage when they are subjected to "have you stopped beating your wife" moments?

Between Cantor, Michael Steele and McCain, the last 24 hours have seen some really pusillanimous pandering by the nominal GOP leadership.

Now he is telling doctors they WILL perform Abortions whether they Like it or not. I would like to know where is the Leadership for and PROTECTION of our CONSTITUTION ?
