Mark Simone just announced on his radio show that legendary broadcaster Paul Harvey has passed away. He was 91 years old. No details yet.

Thanks to all of you. It means a lot; a whole lot to me. P*ssing matches aside, we all get along pretty well around this place.

Now the "fun" begins...I'm Mr. Trustee with four sibs, and the one leftie is the clown who'll drop the ghost of Johnnie Cochran in my lap during the looming dividing process (such as that'll be......Mom was pretty well sucked dry, but he seems to think there are 7 figures floating around someplace).

I haven’t liked some of the positions he’s taken in the past ten years or so, but it broke my heart to hear what his recent illness had done to that amazing voice. I’m glad he’s getting to see Angel tonight.

Paul Harvey was a radio personality who, from my perspective, has been on the air forever. With such people it is odd, almost unnatural, when one sees the face that goes with the voice. One almost expects him to be a disembodied voice in person.
