Some years ago, when we lived in So. Calif, we were in an area where we got both L.A. and San Diego PBS channels. I tuned in a university program, "Money." These 3 young people talked about banking system but never came right out that the Fed is not federal. In fact, they looked chagrined, stumbling.
That made me start questioning, why do we have to pay interest to ourselves? Only when we retired to Arizona did we learn the truth from a neighbor.
So, that's why I wanted a computer - taught myself. Unfortunately, now I'm tired of learning all of this new technology.
