I agree with everything he is saying... but he’s missing the fundamental issue. The issue is that the have nots out number the haves And they have decided to vote.

Strangely, a lot of haves voted for the have not agenda also.

That might make sense if you buy into the MSM-liberal stereotype that only conservatives "have" and that liberals "have not"...it's very sad that you two believe that.

I see the libs in wealthier states like NY, MA, CT, RI, IL, WA, OR etc as the elitist "haves" and that the middle class people in lower income states like Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina are more of the "have nots"...but who among those are voting for conservatives?

Wake up and smell the coffee, please...

Well, that's not the "fundamental issue," because everywhere at all times, that has been true. In America, the gap between the have and have-nots has often been tiny, but has never, nor can it ever, be erased.

The conservative's goal has always been to explain that the have-nots can have a much better chance to be a have in America than anywhere, at any time. THAT is what has been missing from conservative talk in the last 10 years.

No, the issue is “the have-nots” need to realize that they are slaves of the state, being held back from their success, personal liberty & freedom by 0B0Z0’s policies. This is the point Rush is tying to make here.

>>>The issue is that the have nots out number the haves And they have decided to vote.<<<

Your comment presupposes that all the "have nots" are distinctly liberal. They are not, a point Rush has made many times. Most are hard working everyday folks that you do business with. They live their lives by conservative principles....they may not articulate it that way or identify with the conservative cause, but that's who they are.

Given a candidate that can articulate conservatism with a bit of eloquence and passion - America's conservative nature will triumph again. McCain was not that man!!

Your words are disturbingly defeatist!
