Given what's available online in our area for straight news, I'm not to concerned. After all, the Times/P-I commentary/opinion is so formula and predictable that I could write it for them.

Newspapers are worthless now.
Nobody reads them.
They are relics of last century.
By the time the news is gathered, prepared for press, printed and delivered, it is half a day older than anything on the Internet.
Who wants to pay for old news on dead trees?
Nobody.
Buh-bye.

Buh-bye. I still cash in airline miles for my WSJ subscription. Paper still fits my reading habits -- but dishonest reporting doesn't.
