Asked at a Washington news conference Wednesday about Drug Enforcement Administration raids in California since Obama took office last month, Holder said the administration has changed its policy.

OK, commies. Or progressives of you prefer the PC term for commies.
commies works for me.
They'll still need that stuff to go after black market tobacco smugglers.

No kidding ,, that new $25 per pound tax increase on loose tobacco is a huge incentive for smuggling..
BTW , How far is it from Costa Rica to South Florida?
Quite a ways it is in Central America. They can use the Mexican free trade corridor from there. Which will also be useful for the coming black market in guns and ammo.
Me Bad ,, I was thinking Dominican Republic when I typed Costa Rica...
Either way this is shaping up exactly like the 1760’s ,, enormous taxes crushing good men who just want to be free ,, our leaders will also be smugglers , tax evaders and labeled as traitors by “O” and the millions of gov’t workers that worship unlimited gov’t.
Sounds like a good life for a real man... we do live in interesting times after all ,, Sid Vicious was wrong , America IS NOT boring and I am going to need a fast boat...
A small error. I'm sure there will be a healthy trade from all compass points. The more things they ban or bury under heavy taxation the bigger the underground will be.
I’ll have to change my name ,, call me “Captain Ron” ,, Ron Rico.
We gotta have something to do to pass the time.
“That makes no sense. If growing it is legalized there will be no need to hide it and the Mexican gangs would have no incentive to set up grow operations.”
Prohibition and gangs go well together, you would have thought the government would have realized that right about the time they actually had to repeal an amendment to the Constitution to rectify the problem.
It is an awful lot like the whiny attitude of anti-gunners to admit that you can't deal with a pot head. Not too balanced when you think about it and I'm certainly not one who is going to disarm myself just because that makes somebody uncomfortable.
