In the real world I'd agree with that statement; but it was photos of dead soldiers coming back from Vietnam than turned americans [lower case 'a' intended] against the war and will be used as such again in our present political climate.
Agreed, I do also believe that it is far more equitable to let each individual family decide(nothwithstanding the inevitable family squabbles that will arise) instead of some Fedzilla diktat barring the families from having any say in the matter, as was the Bush policy.
