To determine what made Obama's campaign a success, we must look deeper to identify the basic psychological qualities that underlie these strategies. I perceive them to be:
a finely developed skill in strategy, worthy of a great general [4], a tremendous audacity, enabling him to succeed in risky or controversial tactics that his opponents would not dare to attempt [5], a stage magician's skill in misdirection, compelling the public to perceive only what he wishes them to see and ignore what he wishes them to overlook, a penchant for evasion and concealment---the very opposite of his much-vaunted desire for "transparency"---often achieved by saying one thing (such deploring "negativity") while inciting others (such as 527 groups or his "dogs of war") to do the opposite, utter ruthlessness: a willingness to resort to, or at least tolerate, deception and fraud to achieve desired objectives.

No wonder "Arcane" McCain and his minions (those in congressional races) were trounced.
"Hence that general is skilful in attack whose opponent does not know what to defend; and he is skilful in defense whose opponent does not know what to attack." Sun Tzu
Hmmmph.
I wonder why his bull-sh1+ didn’t work on me? I LOVE a good magic show!
interesting. kind of like a coup isnt it?
This was such an interesting read. Thanks for posting. Lots of food for thought here.
This could be simplified. Chicago thug politics, voter fraud, billions in illegal campaign contribution, MSM disinformation campaign, McCain’s incompetence and refusal to campaign on principles.
Obama didn't have to lift a finger. His campaign was carried by the MSM. He could stay above the fray, while the "impartial" media could stomp down any opposition.
BTTT
Obama’s campaign would still have failed without the $700B Dodd/Frank October Surprise and the panic that followed. The war was probably lost when McCain put his campaign “on hold” to address the issue.
Exactly like.
Planned for decades: Infiltrated the media, education and religion. Groomed political players. Indoctrinated schoolchildren. Pandered to communities. Broke the borders. Purchased entitlement votes. Damaged production. Manipulated the economy.
Let’s not forget Rush’s “Operation Chaos”. That still irritates me. We might have been done with him in the primaries.
Using your perceptions, the GOP and conservatives will remain in the minority wilderness for decades.
And HRC would be POTUS and we’d hear the b*tching about that, then.
I doubt it. Hillary it too cold and turns people off.
We need to get past the MSM and break their stranglehold. It is not impossible. We need to stop playing with them. It was suicidal to let hacks like Couric and Gibbson introduce Palin to the nation. She should have gone to FOX, Beck, Greta and Talk Radio. Obama never went into hostile territory. We are idiots for legitimizing propaganda channels with interviews and propaganda shows like SNL with our presence. Ignore them.
Uhm... wasn’t Operation Chaos about voting FOR Hillary?
In short, Obama Inc. used every trick in the Alinsky playbook. McCain was just another media darling stooge to be the lightning rod on stage...until Palin showed up- then all hell broke loose.
Look at the chart. There is a box for “Market Collapse”, but the input box for that has a question mark. Why not draw the arrow from “Soros” to “Market Collapse”? Create another box labeled “Countries that dislike America” and they can input into “Market Collapse” and “Campaign Contributions”. It is pretty clear that we were a victim of financial terrorism last September when McCain was gaining in the polls. Massive naked short selling and a run on the Fed window nearly collapsed our economy.
“Obama Inc. used every trick in the Alinsky playbook”
Spot on! I’ve been railing about this for a while. The “Stupid Party” continues to show up at UFC events expecting to compete using the Marquis of Queensberry rules and then refuse to come to grips ith the reason they lost.
Drives me to friggin’ drink! (more)
