I disagree. We FReepers are political junkies. We realize that politics is ‘war by another means.’ Unfortunately, the vast majority of folks don’t like politics & want everyone to ‘just get along’ & solve problems without ideology getting involved. I know, because I have to put up with my family (who all voted for O) & that’s what they always say. For now, we should give O respect while pointing out differences. If necessary, fillibuster to stop the really bad stuff. And when things go south (as I’m sure they will) the GOP should pull out the long knives & take no prisoners.

Respect has be to earned. It is never just given. Obama and his followers have done nothing to earn my respect. On the contrary the have earned my scorn.
