ALCU 'YOUR RIGHTS with border patrol agents on this bus' sign. An immigration showdown is brewing on Washington's Olympic Peninsula, where simmering tensions and borderline hostility have fueled a turf war between the local community and the Border Patrol agents assigned to protect it.
Now the American Civil Liberties Union has jumped into the ring and upped the ante, rolling out a campaign that will install signs inside buses informing riders of their rights to ignore Border Patrol agents.
The signs, entitled, "YOUR RIGHTS with border patrol agents on this bus," makes three points:
If you're a U.S. citizen, you don't have to prove it. If you're not a U.S. citizen and are 18 or older, you must show your immigration papers to federal agents. Everyone has the right to remain silent.
The campaign, which could start as early as next week, is the latest in a series of expanding grassroots efforts aimed at curbing the expansion of Border Patrol forces and the powers of its agents.

Once again the ACLU steps to the front of the line to protect the rights and liberties.........of criminals at the expense of law abiding citizens. They make a good living doing that, destroying tradition, custom, years of proven solutions to ensure any criminal, sexual deviant, traitor, anyone, gets their way over honest Americans. I think I am going to throw up.

The ACLU’s payback is well on its way, be patient, what goes around, comes around.

“Everyone has the right to remain silent.”
THAT is a false premise based on the tort-reform nightmare Miranda Ruling that supposedly assured CITIZENS a right already assured by the Bill of Rights.
Illegal trespassers have no rights whatsoever.
WHAT WOULD MEXICO DO?
Remaining silent when only the ACLU speaks is not a good idea.

If you're a U.S. citizen, you don't have to prove it.In other words, lie and claim you are a US citizen and there is nothing the BP can do.

I also believe that every state has a law that you must have some type of identification on you to prove to a law enforcement officer who you are. If you don’t have this ID, they can haul you in until they find out exactly who you are.

Everyone has the right to remain silent.
Met a lawyer down here whose nickname is “Five Fingers”. He would hold up five fingers for his clients to take the 5th.

Taze their asses if they refuse to pony up ID and once they finish their 60 second rendition of the “funky chicken” ask them again “nicely”.

Jefferson Democrats host Border Patrol officers: 'Don't try to scare us' - February 26, 2009 - PORT TOWNSEND -- Jefferson County Democrats on Wednesday urged federal Border Patrol agents to avoid creating fear and resentment. Libby Palmer, addressing U.S. Border Patrol agents at a gathering at the Pope Marine Building downtown, talked of living in the "Red scare" in the 1950s and 60s. "Many of us remember that era, when everybody was a communist living under everything around us," said Libby Palmer, addressing U.S. Border Patrol agents at a gathering at the Pope Marine Building downtown. "That fear was spread in order to perpetuate aspects of the policy at the time and it was intense."
