Exactly, even in times when there more morality and standards and yes, even God forbid, shame, there were still teenage girls that got pregnant. Did that mean that we should immediately tell every girl, hey it's OK Suzie got knocked up so you may as well do it too.

The standard is great. I think the point is to give them a backup education in case they don't meet the standard.
