WASHINGTON - From a Lexington office complex, Mitt Romney's political action committee has ensured the former presidential candidate's omnipresence on cable news shows, ....

But for the next year and a half, the center of Romney's political universe will shift west to Sacramento, where key parts of his operation have reassembled on behalf of Meg Whitman, a longtime friend and former business colleague ....

The former eBay CEO is still readying her headquarters, but it has already become something of a campaign-in-exile for Romney's ambitions, which could include another presidential run in 2012....

"Mitt's going to be involved in dozens and dozens of races, but one that he's particularly excited about is the race for governor of California," said Eric Fehrnstrom, a Romney spokesman....

A Whitman victory could deliver Romney a valuable foothold in a state that will likely be a big, early prize on the Republican nominating calendar. Her 2010 campaign will also offer a...

Romney and Whitman both harshly criticized the $787 billion stimulus package championed by President Obama and congressional Democrats, saying it includes too much bloated spending and not enough tax cuts. Whitman is also railing against the plan, signed into law yesterday, of tax increases and spending cuts to plug California's $42 billion budget deficit, saying in a statement it "will kill jobs, hurt families, and make future deficits worse."

The parallel careers of Romney and Whitman - ...

Yet Romney is the only one of the three considered a possible 2012 presidential candidate, ...

LOL Only after Fred Thompson dropped out on Jan 19th, 2009 and Duncan Hunter dropped out on Jan.22, 2009. Willard threw away $55-million for a third place finish in the GOP primaries.

Bottomline: no more RudyMcRombee's!

Lets look back to some relevent FR Poll Question results. From September, 9, 2008.

Make that 2008, not 2009 for Fred and Duncan dropping out.

Actually Paul Weyrich changed his mind on Mitt after looking at his record deeper. Me thinks the others would have buyers remorse if they did the same. That is if they we not already promoting Mitt as the best of a limited field anyways.

Buying the advertising is not the same as looking at the product up close. The advertising hype was far more Conservative than the real thing.

Rush was pretty lukewarm toward Romney, dear. YOU should be the one listening to Rush. Those polls, as you are aware, reflect the last scraps and pickin’s, the candidate those who took the poll regarded as the least lethal in a very piss-poor lot. Romney supporters are delusional because they think that it, like Rush and Levin’s lukewarm back-handed-insult praise of Romney, somehow “proves” that “conservatives” think Romney is the cat’s meow. Romney supporters have to deliberately mislead themselves and others in order to pretend that true conservatives feel about Romney as THEY do.

I wonder how long I’ll have to wait for the Romneyites to line up here to publicly endorse Whitman?

I haven’t made anything up.

Really? So you stand on your claim that those people on my list of Romney endorsements are truly "naive or stupid"?

Please, specify for each person which of the two applies.

Is Ann Coulter naive or stupid?

Tom Tancredo?

>>>>>>Try rereading my post, slowly. REPUBLICAN VOTES. Not ‘primary votes’.

I think I covered that already, bucko. Fast or slow, doesn't matter. You're of the "opinion" that Huckabee threw the election to McCain and Democrats gave McCain his early primary victories.

Got some evidence to back up your wild-eyed assertions?

By the way? Every one of those people needs to publicly repent.

Yeah, you get right on that. Let me know how that works out for ya.

I think I covered that already, bucko.

Where?

You still won’t address my specific point, and we both know why.

Romney in fact did receive more ‘Republican’ votes than McCain did in the primaries when both were still competing for the nomination.

If you did ‘address this’ and I’m in error, please point out the reply number. Thanks in advance.

And excuse me -- HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT THOSE PUNDITS VOTED FOR ROMNEY? You stated in your post:

... the likes of Hannity, Rush and Ann Coulter. They all voted for Romney.

HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS? Or are you lapsing into typcal Romney supporter behavior and LYING????

Show me the transcripts, the written words, the video clips, of any of those three people declaring WHO they voted for. Either that, or have the personal ethics and honesty to admit that while you asssume they voted for your guy, you don't know it for a fact. Had you stated in your post that you ASSUME they all voted for Romney, I wouldn't be writing this post. But you didn't say that. You stated that they DID vote for Romney. I don't follow Hannity or Coulter enough to know whether or not they wrote/said specifically that they were going to or did vote for the guy; I do follow Rush enough to know that HE NEVER SAID WHO HE VOTED FOR IN THE PRIMARY. You lie outright about Limbaugh in order to promote your fraudulent moderate hero.

I swear, you Romney people exhibit again and again in your own behavior, your own lack of honor or ethical standards, exactly WHY the GOP should reject Romney and keep him far, far away.

There's no telling how complete those pundits' support of Romney was, and how much of it was out of sheer desperation.

Yes, but it is always thus. The degree of agreement will always vary, but it doesn't make the endorsement go away.

The "naive or stupid" characterization is just wrong.

Actually Paul Weyrich changed his mind on Mitt after looking at his record deeper. Me thinks the others would have buyers remorse if they did the same. That is if they we not already promoting Mitt as the best of a limited field anyways.

That's convenient conjecture for the rest.

They endorsed Mitt, and they were most definitely not "naive or stupid".

Umm... No, you haven't.

Were each of those endorsers A) Naive, or B) Stupid. If you aren't making stuff up, you should be able to specify.
