I would love to see you come up with a list of Mormons who were concealed by their church leadership to have an abortion. LOL. Good luck with that one!
Though Mormons are not as politically outspoken, as say the Catholic church or some pro-life groups, they do have have lower abortion rates than Catholics and Evangelicals. So they are doing something right.
Actually, in a way that Mormons have so few abortions may contribute to not realizing how big a political problem/issue it is for the rest of the country. As a teenager at church our Bishop showed us an anti-abortion video produced by the LDS church. I didn't learn much in depth beyond that video about the political end of the issue until later when I got more interested in politics. Romney when he first entered politcs showed some of that political naivete about the issue as an external political issue but internally (in his own family, and ecclesiastical duties) he did what was correct.
