[Mod note - need to link Dilbert, can't post directly, but mash it, it's worth the trip]
FWIW, Sam Rayburn, one of the greatest Speakers of the House, lived off of Dupont Circle in a small apartment from the 1930s to just before his death in 1961.
He used to WALK to work at the Capitol-about a 2 mile trip each way.
How true!
I think I would add, “When do you plan on defunding the President’s use of a 747 and staff to make political speeches?”
The corporations should do just that. That is if you can find one that isn’t compromised.
There is corporate greed in America. The bigger problem is that most Americans are jealous of the rich. I really enjoyed watching Phil Mickelson win the Northern Trust Open on Sunday, Now John Kerry wants to shut down the PGA.
So how does Countrywide's Angelo Mozilo get into his
$170,000 Lamborghini with Sen Dodd in his back pocket?
FYI, that's probably what the Admin meant by "mash it." At the Dilbert site people are invited to rewrite the punchline. You can see what has been done so far here.

Most excellent! Verrrrrry funny, too.
The break out sessions earlier this week so reminded me of a Dilbert cartoon. Bambi was like a business school grad who just got out of college into the working world trying to run things like a class (I know, I was exactly the same way)... all the experienced players just shake their head and mock him behind their backs. His whole break out session press conference was almost juvenile, as if Scott Adams wrote it.
That's a thinly veiled reference to Al Sharpton. Close Dilbert down!
Thanks, I needed that. I just herd two between my house and my mothers across the street and down a few houses. It’s not a hard job, although one does not seem to understand the dangers of stopping to roll around in the street. I do get comments and laughs on occasion.
lol! thanks :)
Killer. Oh, to have such courage in corporate America...
Dogbert/Catbert ‘12!
This was a brilliant strip and describes exactly how I feel about those in CONgress.
A few days ago, some CONgress bozo was upbraiding a CEO for giving a $3M bonus and telling him he was out of touch w/ the CONgress bozo’s constituency in Indiana or Illinois (can’t remember which).
If I were the CEO, I would have responded precisely as Dogbert did.
He’s on a roll lately. Last week’s cartoon on across the board salary cuts hit the paper the day after my company imposed one.
Sharpton always struck me as more of a polyester kind of guy.

LMAO!!
