As one who graduated at the top of my class and one who got the full nerd-treatment at the hands of the “beautiful people”, remember, there *are* rewards down the line:

- I now have a good job at a great company.
- I went to college for free.
- I went to graduate school for free.
- I have zero debt.
- I’ve saved two years’ salary.

In my class the beautiful people WERE at the top of their class. And not for a minute did anyone ever think we were nerds : )

But then the kind of scholarhsips you're talking about were so rare, none of us got one. So thank your lucky stars.
