Jindal showed a lack of “gravitas,” I think. We know he is brilliant and an accomplished politician. But in this era when image is so important, and we are up against masters of manipulation, then we need a better spokesperson on our side. Jindal’s substance was good but if he is not more persuasive on camera, this hurts his cause.

Jindal sounded too much like a thinker rather than doer, too much Newt 1998 and not enough Newt 1994

Couldn’t disagree more. Jindal was articulate and comfortable in a very tough situation. He will be destroyed by PravdABDNC attack machine for the fact that he is a conservative minority. He covered all the points that matter, small gummit, corruption and energy. Hit all out very solidly.
