He spoke for me, too. I think there was some nervousness at the outset, but he recovered quickly. Remember, it’s more than speaking ability; Jindal will have the experience and accomplishments as an executive to run on, should he decide to make a go of it in 2012.
Though Jindal is not as slick a speaker as the zer0, he speaks from the heart, he’s the real deal and his optimism is infectious. The time will come when we’ll see him in front of a loud, responsive crowd. He’ll draw from the energy and bring out a much better speech.
I think you hit the difference. He spoke for me too. I liked what I heard especially his optimism and that of his Dad from the time his parent arrived in this Country.
Also thought his ancedot on Katrina was telling about the bureaucrats which said he dislikes bureaucracy as much as I do.
