“Strong” is the right word. He’s a nice guy, obviously bright and optimistic, and Lord knows we need a lot of those qualities. He also seems to be a natural leader, one who speaks not only with honesty but with passion and commitment. I’m glad to say, I saw exactly that from Mr. Jindal tonight.

He hit the corruption issue out of the park w/the turning our backs on corruption in LA that needs to come to DC. Perfect set-up for whats wrong w/the gummit.

Points taken, and I’m certainly not knocking Gov. Jindal. I saw a very good and decent guy tonight in many respects, and one whose personal strength is of the quiet variety. We need people like him, absolutely. But at this moment in history, our country is headed down a very dark and dangerous path and it is going to take an extraordinarily tough-minded person to help lead us out of it.
