Is that ever true. Remember the media would try to portray Reagan as a doddering old fool, but his optimism was infectious despite their dastardly efforts.

Whoever posted upthread that people will remember Jindal’s optimism was absolutely right.

You are so right! I can still remember him talking about the shining city on the hill. No fire and brimstone — just made you feel very uplifted and full of optimism.

That's right, KevinDavis! And remember how the media trashed Reagan's Mr. Rogers-like speaking style? I admit Bobby Jindal needs to do better next time, but what shone through was his optimism about America and her people...
