The eyes of Obama are not upon me because Obama never, ever looks straight into the camera when he gives a speech. He looks to his left, he looks to his right, he looks to his left, he looks to his right, ...

Bobby’s looking into the camera right now, and doing a better job overall, really. The audio feed cut out when he said Obama’s father was Kenyan. For a second I thought he was being bleeped.

0bama does a god job of speaking other people's words well from a teleprompter. His recent forays into ‘townhall’ style speeches is only with a handpicked audience and prearranged questions. Big Media covers for him at every turn. He can't look at the audience ever because he'd lose his place on the teleprompter. Biggest Phony Ever.

Typing too fast and spellcheck doesn't alert you to the wrong word spelled correctly. I IM with my son nearly every night and frequently make that mistake with him. I think I've convinced him that my fingers are dyslexic.

Now, a couple of weeks after the appearance of this thread, the media suddenly notice that Obama never looks at the rest of us:

“He uses [TelePrompters] to death,” a television crewmember who also covered the White House under Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush said of the teleprompter. “The problem is, he never looks at you. He’s looking left, right, left, right — not at the camera. It’s almost like he’s not making eye contact with the American people.”
