Subtract your increased tax bill from her discretionary allowance. That will get her attention. I'm expecting a loss of $1,000 per month of after tax income based on WSJ projections of Obama's plans.
She doesn't know it yet, but that's what's going to happen. She works part-time. I pretty much pay her taxes for her (otherwise, she wouldn't see any cash at all).
