i bet, it crashed due to cooler than expected temperature that caused ice to build up during lift off

So, not only is it not going to confirm AGW but it is now littering the pristine Antarctic? Can you say irony?

Hanson's NASA fails. Again.

Actually, it did transmit one piece of information on global warming.

Polar bears at the South Pole are extinct.

“littering the pristine Antarctic?”

Lets make sure it does not disturb the slumbering Transformers locked in the ice there.

CBS news was at Vandenberg AFB this morning for the launch. The ditz they had doing the interview wouldn’t have known a rocket from a bus. It was all orchestrated so that the NASA guy could explain how CO2 was trapping the sun’s heat and causing all the ice to melt.

“NASA Global Warming Satellite Crashes Near Antarctica”

However, the data collected during re-entry shows a disturbing increase in temperature, validating concerns about global warming

This is a WIERD quote from that story:

The collision of Russian and U.S. satellites destroyed an Iridium Satellite LLC communications craft and a defunct Russian Cosmos 2251, NASA said earlier this month.

US???? - Though it was a UK satellite.

There was way too much O2 in the air as a result of a total lack of CO2 causing the Rockets to misfire! GOD BLESS! What a STUPID BOONDOOGLE this one WAS! Are they going to spend another Half Billion dollars to chase Gore’s crazy rants?

This is disappointing to me, not because the sattelite failed to make orbit but because it was built and launched by Orbital Sciences. This may have been the first use of their new rocket. I’m pulling for OS and SpaceX to generate a private space launch business.
