A U.S. soldier on active duty in Iraq has called President Obama an "impostor" in a statement in which he affirmed plans to join as plaintiff in a challenge to Obama's eligibility to be commander in chief.
The statement was publicized by California attorney Orly Taitz who, along with her Defend Our Freedom Foundation, is working on a series of legal cases seeking to uncover Obama's birth records and other documents that would reveal whether he meets the requirements of the U.S. Constitution.
"As an active-duty officer in the United States Army, I have grave concerns about the constitutional eligibility of Barack Hussein Obama to hold the office of president of the United States," wrote Scott Easterling in a "to-whom-it-may-concern" letter.

Where does that oath say that I will obey an ‘unproven’ President? Or that I will obey a ‘usurper’ to the Presidency? You’re making the presumption that Obama is a legal President, which he has never proven to be, yet.
Until Obama proves he’s qualified this Lt. has every right to legal clarification as to Obama’s qualifications to BE in the oval office before obeying any of his orders.

Yes. By Obama's own admission in his books and his fight the smears website. He affirms he is not eligible by virtue of his FATHER'S non-US citizenship status. Obama Sr. was a citizen of the UK, not the U.S. This has been hashed over and over on these threads. I suggest googling Leo Donofrio who presented an excellent summary of why this is so. Obama may be a citizen we really don't know - but natural born - no way unless both of his parents were citizens.

I learned a long time ago, @ 6:17 AM on July 4, 1996, when I was literally physically threatened with death by an intruder while alone in my home with my four young children, that I have the ability to fight for my life, and that of my kids, and I will NOT hesitate to do so again if need be. Fear does nothing but weaken you and those you love. Had I been afraid then, neither I nor my children would be alive today. And, that's the God's honest truth.

And bringing up Clinton is comparing apples to oranges. Clinton is a natural born citizen and therefore constitutionally eligible to BE POTUS — Obama has never proved squat.

Orly fell in to a trap set by BO’s lawyer’s in her military case. Essentially Orly’s military case has been shut down by bo’s lawyers.
I was working very closely with Orly on her military case before she made the mistake with Lt. Easterling. Other than her plan to publicize Lt. Easterling’s involvement in the case I know all about her military case. I wrote part of the Brief and reviewed the entire Brief.
I advised Orly to list all Active Military as John Does in the Complaint and to not reveal the names of any Active Military. Obviously, Orly did not follow my advice.
I agree with you about Phil Berg. He has handled his cases in a very professional manner, only revealing what he is ethically allowed to reveal and only when such revelations are productive.
I have spoken with Gary Kreep and he strikes me as a lawyer who knows what he is doing too.
I don’t know the other lawyers involved in these cases, but I trust that all are doing the best job that they know how to do. This is an extremely difficult litigation without a lot of precedent.

And this is what Orly allegedly said to Military.com about her knowledge of said Law:
California dentist turned attorney Orly Taitz, who has brought the lawsuit, told Military.com Tuesday that it is her “understanding that there will not be a serious consequence to his career [for his statements], but I don’t know for sure.”
At the very least Orly owes a duty to her clients to posts said Laws on her Blog and state her understanding of said Laws.
Orly is not sweating it out in the desert in Iraq.
It is a different matter entirely for Active Military like Lt. Easterling.
An Army Lieutenant simply does not have the discretion to disobey an Order unless he can prove that said Order is unlawful.
Orly has not proven that any of BO’s Orders are unlawful.
Frankly, I doubt that Orly can prove anything other than she might be a fair Dentist.

Thanks for posting. We need to see if this group can help our soldiers joing Orly’s case. She needs an experienced attorney running her cases that has total control over the cases. She tries hard but I fear she may cause more harm than help.
The BO supporters at NBC would not have sent this story about Orly and Lt. Easterling to all their TV Stations across the US unless they wanted to publicize Orly’s Military Cases because BO’s lawyers set her up knowing that Orly was not an experienced enough lawyer to win a case against BO.

You are right. Orly got set up by O’s lawyers. She was trying but smart and ruthless Dem attorneys will set up a trap and it looks like she may have fallen for it.

Attorneys set traps in cases - it is what they often do. Orly does not have enough legal, lawsuit and courtroom experience. She needs an experienced attorney running her case and it has to be someone with autonomy.
She needs to find an Ex-JAG (Military) attorney with experience to run her cases....fast.
