She ought to STFU, and get back to putting out position papers, running the State, and so on, IMO.

Remember she is a politician and that’s what they do.. Gotta have the spotlight and one of many ways to do that is by being controversial. Also don’t forget the PAC needs money coming in so this in the long run supports that effort. Political SOP nothing more, imo.

Gov. Sarah Palin (R-Alaska) believes that the media deliberately tried to bring her down during her vice presidential run.

As part of an interview with conservative filmmaker John Ziegler for his new film out this week, Palin said she believes the media made a decision that “we’re going to seek and we’re going to destroy this candidacy of Sarah Palin’s because of what it is that she represents.”

“Obviously something big took place in the media,” she added. It is “very frightening, I think, what the media was able to get away with, this go around.”

Yep. And they did the same thing to Clarence Thomas. There were some horribly racist and sexist attacks on Condi Rice too.

If Sarah STFU (I just figured out what this means)then critics would say that she was cowed by the media and couldn’t withstand the heat.

If you notice, Sarah takes more of a philosophical tone to media excesses, and wonders aloud if any democracy can survive if its media is completely in the tank for the other side.

Looking back on her interview with ABC News’ Charles Gibson, in which Palin seemed unsure of how to define the Bush doctrine,

No DNC talking head in a network anchor chair ever bothered to ask Obama to define Marxism.

I agree.

They are in the cat bird (sitting pretty) seat. Aren't they?

Who has the power to bring them down?

God.

Control of the media is fact. Look at how they frame their rhetoric on any issue.

Obviously something big took place in the media, Obama's war room.

Unfortunately, Palin is in a Catch-22. If she remains silent, the media will attack her more and conservatives will get discouraged that she's not fighting back. If she does respond, she does come across like a sore loser. My advice to Palin is to talk to the people directly and bypass the media.

What's important about the "Palin MSM Treatment" story is that we don't let it become another "macaca" treatment of George Allen.

The MSM began its political assassination of then-front-runner Allen in 2006 after they took the footage from the oppo guy and ran a continuous drumbeat of feigned indignation from some non-existent racial group over his nonsense word, and drove him out of politics.

They are trying to politically assassinate Palin today in advance of 2012 (or sooner) the way they way they took out Allen in 2006.

And do not forget the precious one who joined the choir by forwarding:
Lipstick on a pig is still is a pig.
Followed by great audience laughter, and a later Obama denial of specifically targeting Palin.

And Charles Krauthammer, who coined the term Bush doctrine, came out and said that Sarah was right (in questioning which version of the Bush Doctrine Gibson was referring to) and that Gibson was wrong.

Thank you, exactly.
If she planned on discussing it, she should’ve talked (as a foregone conclusion) about what would be helpful to overcome this in the future.

“She wasn’t ready for the Democrat media’s attacks.”

Was anyone? Those attacks were unprecedented and despicable.

Even the Clintons stayed out of it, for crying out loud.

Yes an hour seems long but the interview length was decided by the broadcasters, not the Palins. She’s a beautiful young lady with a Mama who could be our president someday.

Collusion between the DNC and media has driven the election cycles since 2003 when activists leaked the Abu Ghraib photos after a failed blackmail attempt to secure lower charges of one of the men. The NYet Times ran it on the front page for 30 consecutive days. The beheading of Nick Berg got less far less press.

It was designed to sink morale of support for the war and to tank Bush’s numbers. In the end, it emboldened the enemy and gave them justification for jihad against the Western “conquerors”. Our nation’s media engaged in treason with their biased coverage. The men were already on trial. Hunter S. Thompson said it was more shocking that the worst Nazi attrocities, Michael Moore called the terrorist minutemen and said they will win (I didn’t see him calling out his side when they beheaded Nick Berg or other civilians they’d kidnapped).

By 2004 there was collusion between the Democrat Party and SeeBS news to get the forged national guard memos on the nightly news and in AP press.

In 2006 there was the macaca scam and talk of homosexuals in the GOP and a “culture of corruption that stretches to the top of the party”. Except Mark Foley didn’t molest children as the press hinted. And the Press and DNC knew MORE and knew it EARLIER than the GOP (although their drumbeat was the the Republican Party “knew and did nothing”).

The FEC might as well close up shop they are absolutely worthless at limiting foreign contributions, the buying of votes, the intimidation of voters...

The MSM attacks were the equivalent to the Pharisees launching a campaign to discredit and destroy the credibility of Mary, the virgin Mother, if they had.

Of course she does. If she said other wise we would know she was either delusional, stupid, or a closet liberal.

I believe your assessment is correct.

I intend to spend much of my time, as always, tearing down the credibility of the Democrat media.

Palin suggested that unbalanced media coverage posed a threat to democracy.

“This is for the sake of our democracy that there is fairness in this other branch of government, if you will, called the media,” she said.

*********

I do wish Sarah would be more careful about the words she chooses to use. Taken out of context (and of course that is what the left will do) the above could be construed as support for reinstating the Fairness Doctrine. “Unfair” conservative talk radio is of course part of the media.
