His wiki page is already smearing him for this.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Shelby

“In February 2009, Senator Shelby questioned President Barack Obama’s status as a natural born citizen of the United States, despite exhaustive proof of President Obama’s natural born citizenship. Senator Shelby’s comments are seen by many as perpetuating racially motivated rumors about the President, and Senator Shelby’s comments have been widely condemned.”

I haven't heard any condemnations. Probably won't either because the media nor the scum in the white house want anyone to talk about it.

That was fast.

I have an idea, President Obama can tell his lawyers, the vast number of them, to petition Hawaii for the certificate and end the issue today.

Seems simple to me, I’m surprised no one else thought of it ;>

Does Wikipedia always allow such obviously biased statements to stand? If I were Shelby, I would be all over this.

Love whoever is spinning this as RACIALLY motivated. Probably 99.5% of the black males over 35 in the US would be constitutionally eligible to be POTUS and this is racially motivated?

My thoughts on SCOTUS skirting the issue is if he is found to be not eligible, the civil unrest (read that riots) would not be pleasant.

Talk about having your talking points ready and set! Get a screenshot! When exactly did the Shelby statement come and, well, given the Sunday AM talk shows are about the only place the livin-it-up libs pay attention to on weekends, who is saying what wiki claims? ha-ha.

When in the world are they ever going to get off this ‘racially motivated” dreck? Ever?

My edit to his page:

In February 2009, Senator Shelby joined the ranks of hundreds of thousands of Americans when he questioned President Barack Obama’s status as a natural born citizen of the United States. Although questioning the veracity of President Obama’s citizenship could hardly be described as racially motivated (particularly given the Senator’s political record), Senator Shelby’s comments are seen by many liberals as perpetuating racially motivated rumors about the President.

The Wikipedia police fixed it (they’re pretty vigilant):

Expect more Wikipedia/YouTube/Google/etc. online smearings of critics of the Messiah, master Obeyme.

Exhaustive proof? Where might I find this exhaustive proof, or any proof at all for that matter?

The Left is a scary place. They are everywhere and they act in unison to shut down any dissent. Been organizing since the 1930s and the right just can't believe its eyes. It will not stop until we begin to neutralize them with opposition structure. As of now, we have precious little.

Wiki-pedia liars claim Obama has provided “exhaustive proof” that obama is natural born. No but he provided proof he was not based upon his father’s being a Kenyan.

Someone's evidently redacted the earlier screed, as this is the only current mention I saw:

Obama Citizenship

At a meeting on February 21, 2009, Shelby called into question whether Barack Obama had been born in the United States, and therefore able to be President of the United States. When asked if there was any truth in the rumour that there was an issue regarding Obama's citizenship, Shelby responded "Well his father was Kenyan and they said he was born in Hawaii, but I haven’t seen any birth certificate. You have to be born in America to be president.”[11]
