The One has been in office for more than a month now, and the last four Onion issues have tip-toed around anything remotely tough on the Commander-in-Chief.

I don't know about the Onion's coverage of the president (haven't been paying attention). But right after the election, the Onion News Network did a nice mock of his supporters, discussed here.
