For those unfamiliar with Orlando, here is the location of the proposed Orlando Tea Party:

It’s at the bandshell on the western shore of Lake Eola, in downtown Orlando.

Hey y'all, Been working on this with a friend, he actually did all the work, I can't take much credit. What do y'all think? Worth having a flag made and having it at the Tea Party or is it too dorky? And a reminder, the Orlando Tea Party is March 21, from noon to 2pm at Lake Eola in Downtown Orlando. Hope y'all can be there! Free Republic will have a table set up on the west side of the ampitheater. Come by and say hi, help us tell other people about Free Republic, get to know your fellow Florida FReepers!

Got this email from Lisa Feroli. It's looking like we DO need to bring a table, though before she had told us that tables would be set up for us. Can anyone bring one? I know it's last minute, but we really really need someone to cover this item.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you so much for joining us at The Orlando Tea Party! We are very excited about the tremendous response we've had. I wanted to give everyone a quick hello and give you an idea of what to expect the day of the Tea Party. We appreciate you taking the time to help us give the public a positive direction to direct their passion and an opportunity to join with worthy organizations prepared to take immediate action against the disturbing direction our current administration is taking us.

We would like to have information tables set up between 10 and 11am, as we expect people to begin arriving pretty early and we'd love for them to have a chance to check you all out before it gets too crowded. You can feel free to arrive as early as you like though. Due to space limitations, we ask that you only bring one table. We expect people to begin arriving several hours before the event, we actually are expecting at least two buses, so I imagine they will be arriving early. We will have an information table along Robinson Av. behind the rows of blue amphitheater seating (this is the main entrance of the amphitheater area.) It will have red, white and blue balloons. Please just check in there and I will direct you to the booth area. You will need to bring your own tables and chairs. You can always look for a person wearing a "Crew" badge if you have questions or go up to the information table.

The speakers will begin at 12pm and will continue until about 2pm. You can see a a list of our speakers and their topics on the Event page of our web site. We hope to have everyone pumped up by the end of the presentation and will ask them to visit your booths and to find one they feel passionate about and join with them today! Our goal is to get everyone energized to take the fight back home and continue to be vocal until things change in Washington. We simply can not afford to be complacent any longer.

So my brain just started working and I realized we had a 6’ folding table here at work that I can bring. But, I’m going to need one able bodied person to meet me at an agreed upon location to unload and carry to our set up. If no one answers this ping I’m not bringing it and we’ll just look like a bunch of dorks standing around handing out cards and holding the banner for 2 hours.

So, if anyone can help unload mail me and we’ll set up a time/location.
